Volunteer With Us Our PTA is powered by volunteers—and there’s a place for everyone.
Whether you have one hour or want to take on more, your time makes a real difference for our students, teachers, and school community.

Ways to Get Involved
​You can help in a way that fits your schedule:

• PTA events (Fun Run, Book Fair, dances, etc.)
• Classroom or campus support
• Garden and campus beautification
• Prep work from home
• Event planning committees
• Clubs and enrichment programs
• Field trips and school activities

Some roles are one-time, others are ongoing—every bit helps.

Volunteer Clearance (PUSD Required)
All volunteers must complete a clearance through Pleasanton Unified School District before participating.
Choose your level based on how you’d like to be involved:
Level 1 – Event Support

• PTA events and activities
• No direct or unsupervised student contact

Level 2 – On-Campus Volunteer

• Classroom support
• Working directly with students on campus
• Assisting teachers or school programs

Typically requires TB clearance and Raptor check-in.

Level 3 – Field Trips & Driving

• Chaperoning field trips
• Off-campus supervision
• Transporting students to/from activities

Includes TB clearance plus driver and insurance documentation.

We Recommend Level 3 Clearance
If you’re planning to volunteer at all this year, we strongly encourage completing Level 3 clearance.
Field trips and school activities depend on having enough cleared drivers. When we don’t have enough, opportunities can be limited.
The good news—if you’re already completing Level 2, Level 3 is just a few additional steps:

• Driver Transportation Form
• Proof of auto insurance

That’s it—no extra time commitment, just having the option to help when needed.

Community Volunteers Wanted

We are seeking volunteers to tutor local Pleasanton students in all subject areas. Our goal is to create an opportunity for strengthening the entire community by engaging high school students, parents, retired people, and other adults to invest in the success of our students and our PUSD schools.
