Welcome to the Vintage Hills PTA!

The Vintage Hills PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is made up of dedicated parents and staff who generously give their time, talents and treasure to our school community. It is the goal of the PTA to enhance our student's educational experience by sponsoring and providing numerous academic and social programs.

The Vintage Hills PTA is proud to partner with our children's teachers and administrators to enrich school curriculum whenever possible. Please consider getting involved as an active member. We hold general meetings four times a year to discuss and approve plans, activities, and make financial decisions. All PTA and non-PTA members are welcome and encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our Vintage Hills students.

Our goal is to build a school community in which we all develop as responsible, respectful, caring citizens, inspired by a love of learning.

Family Giving Tree's Holiday Wish Drive

Vintage Hills is partnering with Family Giving Tree,
a charitable organization dedicated to inspiring under served children throughout the Bay Area. You can fulfill the wish of a local child by choosing a wish card from the school office.

Cards will be available starting Monday, November 27 and gifts will be picked up Monday, December 11.

Please contact Jessica Drennan at studentservices@vintagehillspta.org if you have questions, or visit www.familygivingtree.org for more information. Thank you for fulfilling wishes and inspiring local children!

A Message from the PTA President

October was a whirlwind of activity at the school. Thanks to all the kids, parents, teachers and volunteers for helping make all the activities so much fun for everyone!
Your fundraising dollars at work, in October we began the final phase in our tech initiative with the installation of mounted projectors in all K-3 classrooms. We have heard from many teachers who are ecstatic about the new technology in their classrooms. This installation will complete the technology initiative that started last year with the 1:1 chrome book ratios in 4th and 5th grades. Thank you to all of you for making that possible!

Have a great Thanksgiving!!!
Jessica Sbragia
VHPTA President

National Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week at Vintage Hills coming up October 23-27

Red Ribbon Week is a national week of awareness and activities across the United States. The symbol of the red ribbon is a commitment to be a positive role model and never abuse drugs or alcohol.  Students and parents across the country began wearing red ribbons to raise awareness of the drug abuse causes in America.
Please join Vintage Hills in participating in our Red Ribbon Week.  Let's show our school spirit and commitment to keep a healthy body!
October 23: Wear RED clothes on Monday. The class with the most participation will receive board game of their choice. The Pleasanton DARE officer will visit with the students during lunch.

Tuesday October 24th: The Pleasanton Fire Department will visit the students during lunch.

Wednesday October 25th: Team up and no drug day - wear favorite sports team uniform.

For your convenience, the 2017-18 Volunteer Clearance Form is now available online.
The volunteer clearance form has to be completed every year in order for the parent/guardian to be cleared to work in the classrooms, help at school wide events, and even to chaperone at field trips. Each family member must fill out a volunteer clearance form separately.

It will take a few weeks to process the form. Therefore, the sooner you can submit your clearance form, the better. Thank you for helping out at Vintage Hills Elementary School!
