The Vintage Hills School Garden Club offers project-based S.T.E.A.M education, utilizing the Vintage Hills School Garden as a living laboratory. Members of the School Garden Club will participate in projects using science, technology, engineering, art, and math to further their garden education. The Garden Club enables students to learn more about their food sources, encourages healthy food choices, and establishes an appreciation for natural systems observation.

The club is open to students from kindergarten to 5th grade. Students will spend some time in the classroom reviewing the daily topic, and the rest of the class time will be spent in the school garden, our outdoor classroom. They will participate in all aspects of sustainable gardening from planning and planting, to harvesting and eating the food that they grow. Project-based lessons are planned for each garden session, focusing on a theme that relates to the season and on-going care of the school garden project.
